Juniper ships IPv6 hotfix

By Richard Chirgwin, 9 Aug 2016

Juniper has patched the IPv6 “ping of death” bug that affected its Junos OS and JUNOSe platforms.

The bug – full name “IPv6 Neighbor Discovery Crafted Packet Denial of Service Vulnerability” – was first revealed by Juniper in June, a week after Cisco turned it up.

Juniper's now updated its advisory to note that the hotfix is now available. ®
