Google building firebombed

A building and car on Google's Mountain View campus were damaged Thursday night by what police are calling incendiary devices.

According to local news station KPIX, fire crews were called to the Google campus at approximately 10:52 PM responding to a fire report at the Google Maps building on Saldado Avenue.

The fire department put out the flames, but not before a Google Street View mapping car and a building were singed. No other damage was reported. Police are currently examining two incendiary devices found at the scene, but no suspects or motives have been released. ®
