Opera Software bid

Chinese bidders are holding out for more shareholders to accept their offer.

The Middle Kingdom web firms, which bid $1.23bn for Norwegian mobile phone browser biz Opera, have extended the offer in order to get acceptance from shareholders who own 90 per cent of the stock.

Currently the group has approval from 72.19 per cent.
