PowerShell attacks up

Cybercriminals are increasingly using Microsoft PowerShell (a scripting language built-into Microsoft operating systems) as a means to launch stealthier hack attacks, according to a study by Carbon Black Security Partner Program.

It found hackers used PowerShell to launch their attacks in 38 per cent of over 1,000 security incidents in 28 firms. ®
