Internode gets aggressive on greenfield estates

Rolls fibre head to head with NBN

Adelaide based ISP Internode has launched Fibre to the Home offerings to greenfield housing estates across 20 real estate developments around Australia that compete on all levels with NBN Co services.

The ISP, currently under acquisition by iiNet, is offering fibre optic-based services at all NBN sites in Australia and delivering Fibre to the Home services at real estate developments in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and SA, through partnerships with wholesale providers OptiComm and OPENetworks.

Prices start at $AU49.95 for a 12/1 Mbps plan with a 30GB data quota.

“As well as more competitive prices, we’ve launched the new 12/1 Mbps level speed for Fibre to the Home customers and are delivering faster upload speeds with the standard services. We’ve also introduced the optional Power Packs and Business Packs so customers can tailor their Fibre service to their particular needs,” said Internode product manager Jim Kellett.

Internode’s previous fibre plans have been ‘grandfathered’, meaning they are being phased out for new clients but operational for existing customers but are no longer available for purchase. ®
