Fresh Apple lawsuits target 15 Samsung gadgets

Design ethos nicked, allegedly

Apple is having another go at Samsung, telling a German court that it thinks ten of the South Korean giant's phones ape its established design language.

It's going after five Samsung tablets too, in a separate action.

The iPhone maker wants the Dusseldorf Regional Court to ban the allegedly offending gadgets from sale, Bloomberg reports.

Among the handsets Apple claims took their design cues from its own products: the Galaxy S Plus and the Galaxy S II.

The tablet-centric suit targets various Galaxy Tab models, including the 10.1N, introduced by Samsung in November 2011 to bypass a ban on the Galaxy Tab 10.1. This despite being told by the Dusseldorf court that Apple is unlikely to prevail in a case against the 10.1N. ®
