Sage Pay suffers 2nd day of downtime

Blue sky for cloud service

By John Oates, 3 Mar 2011

Sage's online payment service SagePay is mainly not working for its 32,000 customers today, and it wasn't really working yesterday either.

There seems to be a slight discrepancy between Sage's Twitter feed and its system monitor page on its website. The company's Twitter feed warns that live processing is not working but its systems monitor page says only that "Live transactions are processing intermittently".

SagePay said 12 hours ago that live transactions were not processing at all. Yesterday it had problems with its fraud screen.

SagePay's Tweets are here, and its system monitor page is here.

A PR for SagePay told us the company was aware of the issue and was investigating. She said customers would be updated via Twitter and the system page.

We'll update this story should we hear more. ®
