Doctor Who inspires another game, this time MMOG

RE: Tardis?

The Doctor will return later this year in the form of a free-to-play MMO game, announced by the BBC today.

Doctor Who: Worlds in Time invites players to save the universe by solving puzzles and completing "pulse-pounding" challenges.

Game developer Three Rings, famed for its MMOG Puzzle Pirates, says the game will "capture the imaginative spirit and depth of the series, whilst being fun and easy to play for all ages."

We've been flooded with quite a few Doctor Who inspired games recently, from the BBC's successful Doctor Who: The Adventure Games to the not so popular Doctor Who: Return to Earth. This is another free one, so let's hope it's at least worth the time.

Hopefully it will fare better than this load of Wii

Doctor Who: Worlds in Time is set to launch later this year. We can also look forward to Series 6, which kicks off this spring. Or better yet, perhaps get on down to Olympia to check out the Doctor Who Experience. It's quite an exhibition, apparently. ®
