German inventor gushes over portable women's weebag

A German firm hitherto dedicated to taking the piss out of men has now turned its attention to women, with the urine-sucking Ladybag.

Yup, what we have here is allegedly the "world's first pocket urinal for women", which will put an end to cross-legged queuing up at lavatories, "squirming on disgusting toilets" or indeed "having to relieve oneself into yoghurt cups during car journeys", as Spiegel Online nicely puts it.

Ladybag inventor Eva Tinter enthused to the paper: "It can be used in cars, or to avoid dirty toilets or at open-air festivals when you don't want to queue. You can just nip round the back of the toilet and use this. There's never been a product like this in this form."

Yup, we can quite believe that. The Ladybag works by slurping up urine with gel-forming absorbent polymer crystals which can cope with an impressive 700ml* of liquid. It comes with a handy handle plus "moist towelette" for post-micturation ablutions.
