Perfect for snooping whilst you sleep

Convinced that ghosts are creeping around your bedroom as you sleep? Well, now there’s a high tech solution that may help catch them - burglars too - in the act.

Swann's Digital PrivateEye Clock: pretty pointless, really

The Digital PrivateEye Clock is simply an alarm clock with a digital camera cunningly hidden inside. Images are snapped whenever a built-in sensor detects movement, and it’s able to take pictures at distances of up to 5m.

All your pictorial evidence is stamped with a date and time, and then recorded on the included 256MB SD card.

If, like us, your bedroom alarm clock points toward the bed so that you can see the time when you wake up, it’s questionable what pictures you’ll get pictures with such a device: your arm hanging outside the duvet?

Swann’s Digital PrivateEye Clock is available now for £120 ($196/€152).
