US nutter counts to one million on net

Charity marathon caught on webcam

A US chap is counting to one million live on the net to raise funds for the Push America disabilities charity.

Jeremy Harper, 31, reckons it will take a total of three to four months to work his way to the big total, counting 12,000-15,000 numbers during a 16 hour daily stint. He's currently at around 191,000, and will not leave his house until he's completed the task.

In cased you're wondering, Jeremy does have a job "for a local software company that gave him time off to complete this project", a "very patient" girlfriend, and an impressive tech set-up including audio/video switcher, night vision camera and, crucially, fridge.

Jeremy has to date raised a tad over $2,600 for his worthy cause, and one donor summed the whole thing up rather nicely with: "Wow man!! Your freakin' insane! Keep it up...i'll donate again if you make it all the way to a million." ®
