Energis shareholders are revolting

Create Web site to 'fight for small investor'

Former shareholders in Energis have created a Web site to complain and muster support concerning the demise of the alternative telco.

The site claims to enable people to "join together and fight for the rights of the small investor".

Chelys.net - which takes its name from the bank-backed outfit that has taken over Energis - has only just been launched.

But already investors and (former) employees are adding their voices of outrage at the way they've been treated.

Wrote one: "It comes as no surprise to those of us who actually work for Energis that the demise has been so great and so quick. For many months now we have watched the pathetic performance of Senior Management turn what was once a successful and great company to work for in to a shambles. The fact that I have now lost the money I invested in shares is a final kick on the teeth." ®
