Think you’re a Tech Trailblazer but still warming up?

Deadline for awards entries extended

We know some blazers take longer to warm up than others, so you’ll be pleased to know that the deadline for this year’s Tech Trailblazers Awards has been extended to October 6.

These awards have been running for six years, recognising and rewarding real innovation in real world business tech.

So you can use that extra time to really go to town in explaining why you merit recognition in one of the 11 categories spanning big data, cloud, IoT, virtualization, storage, and security.

Or now that you’ve got extra time to hit Powerpoint, you can opt for more than one such as the new Female and Male Tech Trailblazer of the Year sections - aimed at senior execs excelling in the key areas of innovation, diversity, agility and leadership.

Apart from having those great ideas, you just need to be a company that’s less than six years old, privately funded, or at C-series stage, and willing to pay the entrance fee - which will be no more than $295.

So, take advantage of the extension, finesse your entry, and once the judges get to work, you could be on the shortlist within weeks - at which point the public vote kicks in. The esteemed winners will be announced in the New Year.

If you need some guidance on how to craft a winning entry, check out the guide by head judge, Stephen O’Donnell.

So don’t just wait for the world to recognise your brilliance. Head to the website, submit your entry, and get blazing. ®
