Citrix frees NetScaler CPX

Citrix has created a free version of NetScaler CPX, its application delivery controller cooked up for containerised environments.

The company reckons that containers need all the same network-grooming nous as any other application, so last month launched the product it first teased in December 2015.

Now there's a free version too. NetScaler CPX Express is being dangled before developers for the usual reasons, namely if they like the (slightly throttled-back) free edition maybe they'll generate purchases of the real thing.
