Back on track! #VMworld, #TFDx and #TECHunplugged

Let us tell you about all the interaction with influencers and vendors

Comment Here we go again! Summer holidays are over (for me, at least) and I’m gearing up for a very hot September! There are a lot of interesting things usually happening in this month, and this is the time when everyone starts to look at the last quarter of the year.

On my side, I’ll be hitting the road again, collecting and sharing information as well as working on new ideas.

VMworld and TFDx

First stop is at VMworld. It's become the crucial event to attend if you work in the IT industry. And it’s no longer only for VMware end users.

In fact, all the ecosystems that have been growing around this company and its products makes this event a wonderful opportunity to understand the most interesting market trends, and get useful first-hand information from vendors, influencers, as well as end users.

It’s one of the few must-attend events in our industry.

VMworld also brings a lot of collateral events with it, and I’m not only referring to parties here. Personally, I’ll be attending a special edition of Tech Field Day. The format is the same as the usual events and a bunch of bloggers will be informed live on the latest from selected vendors.

Interaction between influencers, vendors and other peers on Twitter makes this event incredibly useful and fun.

Detailed information about the live stream and links will be covered in a separate post.

I’ll be attending TFDx on Monday and Wednesday where I’ll be talking directly to Cirba, DataGravity, Platform9, Velostrata, Datto and Violin Memory, and on Tuesday you’ll be able to watch Primary Data, Reduxio, Sandisk and a new company still in stealth.

I promise I’ll try to cover most of them.

TECH.unplugged

September doesn’t end with VMword. On the 23/24, I’ll be in Amsterdam for TECH.unplugged session. I’m working with a great group of influencers to repeat what we already did in the UK a few months ago.

One day (24) will be full of independent sessions, open panels, deep-dives and the point of view of selected vendors on the most interesting IT topics (here is the full agenda). Attendees will be able to share their experiences and participate in the discussions with their opinions.

A lot of fun, starting the night before (23) with a couple of beers and IT friends.

Here is all the info and the details for signing up, this event is free for end users but seating is limited, hurry if you don’t want to be left out.

Closing the circle

I’m really looking forward to all these events. VMworld, TFDx and TECH.unplugged: a lot of information and debates on the hottest IT topics. Stay tuned, I’ll try to share as much as I can!
