Linode open-sources its secret support sauce
IaaS operator happy for you to edit its tutorials
Infrastructure-as-a-service and cloud concern Linode has open-sourced the support documentation it offers to users.
The company has long operated a “Linode Library” containing tutorials and other documents that might conceivably be useful to its users, or just to the curious.
The company has now put the lot on GitHub along with an invitation “... for you, the reader, to make recommendations on instructional revisions, suggest new guides on interesting topics, and ultimately contribute back to the community.”
The company also pays US$100 for contributions, which can now be submitted as pull requests on GitHub. ®
